Gas Equipment Direct do all we can to ensure your order is delivered on time. To get your order to you as quickly as you require, we offer Next Day delivery as well as an Economy service.
For smaller orders, we currently offer Royal Mail 1st Class and Royal Mail 2nd Class. For larger orders we offer Economy, Highlands & Islands and Next Day service.
Please take note of the following:
Next Day Delivery – To ensure next day delivery, orders must be placed before 13:00pm. Please note that this includes working days only and excludes weekends and public holidays. If an order is placed on Friday before 13:00pm, your order will not be delivered until the following Monday.
Economy – This is a 3 – 5 working day service, and orders can be delivered between the hours of 08:00am – 18:00pm.
Highlands & Islands - This is a 3 – 5 working day service, and orders can be delivered between the hours of 08:00am – 18:00pm. If your location falls within this bracket and you require a quicker delivery service, please give us a call and we will do all we can to accommodate your request. Please note this delivery cost is a catch all price that covers all Highlands and Islands. If you are ordering smaller items, please contact us to see if there is anything we can do to reduce this cost for you.
Royal Mail 1st Class – Royal Mail will aim to deliver your parcel within 2 working days. Please note that this in not a guaranteed next working day delivery service.
Royal Mail 2nd Class – Royal Mail will aim to deliver your parcel within 5 working days.
Please be aware that certain items will carry an additional Carriage charge. The items included are: ZMISC0086, MISC0043, MISC0049, MISC0044, MISC0044B, MISC0087, MISC0087A, ZGP20X50, ZGP25X50, ZGP32X50 and GP63X50. If you have placed an order for this item, you will be contacted straight away to discuss the Shipping Method and Charge. If you call us to place an order for any of these items the price will be POA. The reason for this additional charge is due to the weight and size of the item, as these items are classed as 'oversized pallets or 'oversized cartons'.

Do you offer morning or Saturday deliveries?
Depending on stock and the size of the item/s you require, we may be able to offer upgraded delivery services including Pre 12:00pm, Pre 10:30am and Saturday deliveries. If you require this service, please give us a call on 01508 522412 and we will do our very best to accommodate this.
My Postcode is classed as Highlands & Islands, are you able to offer Next Day delivery?

What happens if I am not in to accept my delivery?
If no one is available at the property to sign for the goods upon delivery, a calling card will be left with the couriers contact details on, so you can rearrange delivery for a time that is convenient for you. If a request is made to leave the goods at the property in your absence, please note that this is just a request and is not guaranteed.
What happens if my goods are returned to you because no one was in to accept delivery?
The carrier should attempt to deliver your goods 3 times before the goods are returned to sender. If no one is available at the property on each of these attempts, and there has been no contact made following the calling cards left at the property, the goods will be returned to us and a second delivery charge will have to be obtained before we can dispatch the goods again.
If your order was sent via Royal Mail, typically only one attempt will be made to deliver the goods, therefore if no one is available at the property to sign for the goods and the goods are not left in your absence, a calling card will be left with contact details on. Please note that Royal Mail will discard any goods not collected/delivered within 3 weeks.
Can I track my parcel?
If you have selected for your order to be delivered via Royal Mail 1st or 2nd Class, unfortunately you will be unable to track your order. However, if you have selected for your order to be delivered via FedEx, on condition that you have provided a mobile number with your order, FedEx will text you on the morning your parcel is due to be delivered. Please note that FedEx do not provide a time-slot, and can deliver any time between 08:30am - 18:00pm. If you have not received a message from FedEx, or you have not provided us with a mobile number, please give us a call and we will happily track this for you and pass on any tracking details.
Can I collect my goods from you?
Although we do not have a physical shop, please feel free to call us on 01508 522412 to arrange a collection from us. Please be advised that we will need to raise an order before you come and collect from us so that we can arrange for our warehouse staff to have the goods ready when you arrive. If an order is not placed before you arrive, please note that you may have a wait time of up to 30 minutes. It is also advisable to give us a call first to guarantee that the goods you require are in stock.
